Turkey Rissoles


              




 





                   These rissoles are one of my favorite from my childhood,
         they are delicious with savory rice and salad
                and a great bottle of Dry Riesling or Sauvignon Blanc

 
                       1 pound turkey burger    
                      2 medium carrots grated
                   1 small zucchini grated
                     1/2 onion finely chopped
               1 egg
                 1 cup bread crumbs
                   1/2 tsp ginger
                       1/2 tsp cumin
                      2 Tblsp Worcestershire sauce
                    1/4 tsp salt and pepper each
                          1 tsp mixed spice
                         3 Tblsp  Olive Oil
 
                   combine the first six ingredients till mixed well then add the last ingredients
                       except the olive oil, mix all well , heat olive oil, roll up a hand full of mixture
                              and put into hot oil, slightly press down with spatula
                      to make a patty,
                          fry on both sides until rissoles in the center are no longer pink, 
                          about 8 minutes on each side.
